Sweet & Sour Chicken

An easy dish that turns your meal into a feast

Ingredients for 2 to 3 people

Chicken Marinade

• 250g chicken breast or thighs
• 40g cornstarch
• 1 egg white
• 1 tsp Shaoxing cooking wine
• ¼ tsp salt
• Ground pepper

Vegetables and sauce

• ¼ pineapple
• ⅓ pepper
• 100g cherry tomatoes
• 1 spring onion
• 1 onion
• 5g cilantro
• 1 tsp grated ginger
• 1 garlic clove
• 1 tsp tomato paste
• 1 tsp chili puree (optional)
• 2 tbsp white rice vinegar
• 2 tbsp sugar
• 1 tbsp light soy sauce
• 1 tbsp oyster sauce
• ¼ tsp salt
• Ground pepper
• 10cl chicken broth
• 1 tsp cornstarch
• Frying oil
